AST Networks' apprenticeship programme is shaping future leaders and technology experts

The apprenticeship is part of our mission to foster exciting young talent in the industry. It provides the transferrable skills, knowledge and behaviours required to successfully work in the digital sector.

Our aim is to meet the need for regional skills required by IT Technicians in the local area. The apprenticeship provides an entry point into the digital sector from which apprentices can choose to gain professional body recognition, go on to further study or progress their careers in the workplace.

The course is intended to meet the standard required for endpoint assessment and create apprentices prepared for modern working life within the sector. This is achieved through knowledge modules in college, which are then applied in the workplace to build skills.

Ethan Gray embarked on his apprenticeship journey two years ago. A dedicated and hardworking individual, he expressed gratitude to AST Networks for providing him with a transformative learning experience:
