AST Networks Partners is looking for a dedicated Finance Business Partner to join our management team on an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential for a permanent position.

In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive financial, commercial, and analytical support to our department, working closely with the General Manager. Your expertise will drive major projects, new business initiatives, and system implementations, helping shape the future of our already successful business. With this opportunity, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of AST Networks Partners.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Regular Reporting

  • Prepare and analyse monthly P&L reports.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
  • Conduct Product Contribution Analysis (PCA).
  • Manage overhead reporting and control.
  • Present management results to your division.

Business Planning

  • Contribute to the strategic 3-year business plan.
  • Develop and monitor 12-month rolling forecasts and annual budgets.

Commercial Involvement

  • Suggest improvements to management reporting to adapt to business changes.
  • Assist in tender preparation and customer negotiations.
  • Liaise with sales teams and oversee credit control.
  • Participate in designing and measuring performance and commission schemes.

Group Finance Collaboration

  • Ensure compliance with annual audits and group reporting policies.
  • Work closely with the Group finance team to maintain internal control.

Essential Experience

  • Qualified accountant, part-qualified accountant, or qualified by experience (AAT Level 3/4, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with multiple currencies.
  • Familiarity with group company operations is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and database management experience.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is favourable but not essential.
