Role Description Step into a crucial role at AST Networks, where your exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities will ensure our sales process runs smoothly from start to finish. As a key support for our sales and business development teams, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining outstanding customer experiences from the moment an order is placed.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing pre-sales administration support, managing sales documentation, and assisting with customer inquiries to guarantee seamless operations. Your collaboration with internal teams will help deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a demanding role that requires high motivation, excellent prioritisation skills, and the ability to quickly absorb and retain detailed customer and process knowledge

Key Elements Job Content: Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales and business development teams and our Channel Partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the operations cycle.
  • Pre-Sales Administration: Accurately and efficiently raise sales orders, invoices, despatch notes, and other sales-related documentation.
  • Customer Interaction: Manage customer inquiries via telephone and email, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work with couriers/freight forwarders to obtain quotations and manage shipping restrictions.
  • Documentation Management: Support in issuing quotations, handling export regulations, and managing end-user statements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various AST teams, including Business Development Specialists, Account Managers, and the Pre-sales Technical Engineer, to support sales efforts.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Provide cover support to the post-sales coordination team and assist with operations admin tasks as needed. The Person – Bringing your personality to AST Networks.

  • Team Player: A collaborative approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with internal teams.
  • Self-Motivated: A high level of self-motivation, with the drive to prioritise effectively and achieve set KPIs. Essential Experience / Qualifications / Educational attainments
  • Customer Service Expertise: Previous customer service experience is essential, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Experience of CRM systems & finance systems
  • Ability to create and manage data within business systems.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook essential).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
